Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp in Houston, TX seeks a Contracts Manager to support the Legal and EPC teams on drafting, negotiating, and managing engineering, procurement and construction contracts. The role requires reviewing documents, tracking revisions, and coordinating internal reviews.

The position is full-time and on-site in Houston, with travel up to 15%. The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and to work without sponsorship at this time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant certificate from college or technical school.
• 3+ years relevant experience in construction, energy, or EPC contracting.
• Background in commercial construction, equipment supply, and/or engineering contracts.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, computer fluency, agile and effective negotiator with clear explanations.
• Experience with solar PV and BESS contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Legal team with drafting, negotiating, and managing EPC contracts.
• Review, interpret, and negotiate contract documents to determine obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Develop compliance trackers and ensure contract delivery to execution teams.
• Drive the contract execution process by coordinating workflows and meetings.
• Compile contracts, track revisions, and manage documents and exhibits.
• Coordinate with legal and EPC teams to reflect all comments in revisions.
