Job summary

6K Additive, Inc. is seeking an Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong mechanical and industrial electrical skills, including troubleshooting electrical, controls, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair complex systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and document work while prioritizing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair mechanical and industrial electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of three-phase power, motor controls, control voltage, electrical protection devices, and electrical troubleshooting practices.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Lockout/tagout and electrical safe-work practices knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work under production conditions and prioritize repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, boiler, vacuum, and hydraulic systems and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot three-phase electrical systems, motor-control circuits, disconnects, starters, contactors, relays, transformers, sensors, switches, and related components.
• Diagnose equipment problems through observation, testing, and systematic troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, manuals, and specifications.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and document work and issues.
• Prioritize work orders to minimize downtime and respond to call-outs and emergencies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety procedures (lockout/tagout, arc-flash, etc.).
• Source parts and maintain inventory; assist with installations, upgrades, commissioning, and startup.
