Gibson's Electrical & Lighting in Lake Norman, NC is seeking a full-time Electrician to install, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems in new builds and remodels. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot, and ensure compliance with NEC and safety standards on client sites.

Daily duties include coordinating with other trades, communicating project status to customers, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Formación

• Strong residential electrical installation and repair skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Solid knowledge of NEC, local electrical codes, and safe work practices on job sites.
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing electrical issues.
• Good communication and customer service skills for interacting with homeowners and contractors.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a small team in a fast-paced field environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• OSHA safety training, EMT or first-aid experience is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, panels, outlets, and switches in new builds and remodels.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics; troubleshoot issues.
• Perform safety checks and ensure work meets code and company standards.
• Coordinate with other trades and communicate project status to customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with material planning and basic documentation.
