Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, science, occupational health or safety, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of safety, environmental or supervisory experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of EHS regulations, management systems and trends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards with site personnel and implement corrective/improvement measures.
• Coordinate and manage EHS policies, procedures and compliance calendars.
• Promote proactive safety participation and incident investigation.
• Lead environmental, health and safety programs to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
• Provide coaching and develop EHS staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Support ISO 9000 and RC14001 processes and documentation.
