Job summary

SA Recycling, a leader in metals recycling, is seeking a Dispatcher to manage shipment schedules, assign drivers, plan routes, and provide rate quotes with strong customer service. This on-site role requires engaging with suppliers and drivers in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on FMCSR/DOT compliance and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in dispatch, terminal operations, or driver coordination preferred.
• Knowledge of FMCSR and DOT rules is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch company or contracted drivers for delivery and pickup of materials.
• Provide drivers with required information to ensure prompt pickups and deliveries and high supplier satisfaction.
• Coordinate with drivers to resolve issues during delivery or pickup.
• Monitor routes and truck statuses to optimize scheduling and efficiency.
• Communicate with suppliers about driver schedules and route changes.
