Job summary

Entarian is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support NAVSUP OIS modernization in a secure on-site setting, Mechanicsburg, PA or Yorktown, VA. You will implement and automate CI/CD pipelines, integrate with Kubernetes-oriented cloud environments, and collaborate across Dev, Cybersecurity, and Operations teams.

The role requires TS clearance, OCI/8570.1 certifications, and hands-on work with Terraform, AWS, Docker, and GitLab. A fast-paced agile environment and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have fully adjudicated DOD Top Secret clearance to start; U.S. Citizen required for federal clearance.
• Certification: Directive 8570.1/8140 - IAT II: Security+ (Baseline) and Cloud cert within 3 months if not in hand (AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent).
• AA/AS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience and 1+ years of DevSecOps experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation tools, cloud environments and Docker or similar containers.
• Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with multiple teams.
• Experience with Terraform and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with GitLab and Docker.
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements CI/CD and DevSecOps execution plan to maximize performance and quality.
• Monitors build/deployment processes and data flow between tools and Kubernetes pods.
• Ensures CI/CD/DevSecOps aligns with Navy policies and implements security architecture.
• Applies configuration management for production and non-production environments.
• Builds version control, automated builds, and release management aligned with Navy requirements.
• Documents enterprise CI/CD/DevSecOps strategy and integrates with Jira, Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, etc.
• Collaborates to automate code analysis validation and tracks status, schedules, and risks.
• Communicates with team leadership about significant matters.
