Job summary

Twenty Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to build and operate data integrations at a government site in Northern Virginia. You will own production data paths, extend data sources, and ensure secure, auditable data flows in air-gapped environments.

You will work closely with Arlington engineering and the customer deployment team, reporting to the VP of Engineering. This role is on-site full-time with travel to Arlington and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data-centric software engineering.
• Strong programming in Python or Go with review-ready code.
• Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration.
• Solid SQL and schema design skills for scalable data workloads.
• Experience debugging production data systems in restricted environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build software extensions to ingest and integrate new data sources.
• Collaborate with customer deployment teams to run on high-side environments.
• Monitor data pipelines and health dashboards on-site (LGTM stack).
• Diagnose production issues and drive root-cause analysis with Arlington teams.
• Produce runbooks and documentation for field engineers and operators.
