Job summary

BT is seeking a Palantir Data Engineer to join a on-site team in Chantilly, VA. You will build data transformation pipelines in Palantir Foundry, design APIs, and create UI components with TypeScript. The role requires strong Python skills and the ability to triage customer requirements at tier 2 support.

You will work with data engineers and data scientists, manage ETL workflows, and ensure robust data integration across repositories. A Poly clearance is mandatory for consideration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience with Python
• Experience with Palantir Foundry
• Experience with Palantir Pipeline Builder
• Experience with Palantir Workshop
• Experience with TypeScript
• Proficiency with Java, C++, JavaScript or similar languages
• Understanding of XML, YAML, and JSON files and their roles within a system
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and how technical decisions affect users

Responsibilities

• Move structured and unstructured data using approved methods
• Ingest data for storage at local or enterprise level
• Develop code to format data for exploration
• Analyze source data formats with Data Scientists and partners
• Develop code/tools for data extraction and transformation into models
• Deliver documentation for ETL mappings and code usage
