Job summary

Jacobs seeks an On-Site CxA/Owner Testing Engineer to lead on-site commissioning and owner testing activities for complex facilities. You will coordinate testing schedules with contractors and vendors, review plans and scripts, and witness system testing to document results and deficiencies.

With 10+ years in commissioning or 5+ years in hyperscale data center programs, you will ensure documents are complete and turnover is smooth, while communicating progress and risks to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in commissioning, testing, construction, operations, or 5+ years supporting hyperscale data center commissioning programs.
• Experience with integrated systems testing and mission‑critical facility turnover.
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes, startup procedures, and test documentation.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in complex construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site liaison for commissioning and Owner testing activities.
• Coordinate testing schedules among contractors, vendors, commissioning teams, and Owner representatives.
• Review and verify commissioning plans, scripts, procedures, and test documentation.
• Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), startup activities, and integrated systems testing.
• Attend and witness system testing, documenting results and deficiencies.
• Track testing issues, corrective actions, retesting requirements, and closure activities.
• Provide weekly reports covering testing activities, readiness assessments, deficiencies, and risk items.
