Job summary

Simple Mining LLC in Lake Mills, IA is seeking a Data Center Technician to support on-site mining operations. This full-time role requires daily commuting to Osage, IA and working in a demanding environment. Starting pay is $18/hour with room to grow.

The technician will monitor miners, troubleshoot network issues, configure IPs, and assist with site setup. A high school diploma and about 1 year of technical experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of hands-on or technical experience
• Basic understanding of networks and IP addresses
• Comfortable learning new systems and entering data accurately
• Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to do physical work

Responsibilities

• Keep operations running by tracking and closing work tickets.
• Prioritize machines that need attention and maintain accurate records in Foreman and other systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs; diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor machines using Foreman and BTC Tools; set up IPs and bring new miners online.
• Assist with setup of miners and pods; keep site clean, organized, and secure.
