Job summary

A technology services company in Wappingers Falls is looking for an experienced Data Center Technician to ensure operational efficiency at critical facilities. Responsibilities include performing hardware installations and troubleshooting issues. Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in cabling, and ability to work in physically demanding environments. Strong communication skills and certifications are preferred. Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Data center certifications preferred (CDCP, CDCS, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.

Skills

Cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber)

Server hardware experience (Dell, HP, Supermicro)

Professional communication skills in English

Tools

Standard tools (screwdrivers, cable testers, label makers, fiber inspection equipment)
