Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager (Deputy Project Leader) to lead large data center security installations at a Ft. Wayne, Indiana construction site.

You will drive budgeting, scheduling, subcontract coordination, and safety compliance on complex electronic security systems. Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering with 5+ years in electrical or construction contracting, CPM scheduling experience, and strong written and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (EE or Industry related degree) with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with electrical or construction contracting; projects ranging from $500k to $10M.
• Experience with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
• Experience with CPM Scheduling.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills; ability to plan and organize activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall financial management of the project(s).
• Coordinate and run a project kick-off meeting (PKOM).
• Forecast cash flow and manpower needs for projects.
• Order materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare monthly reports analyzing budget, schedule, cash flow, and manpower.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and quality improvements.
• Ensure safety regulations are adhered to and coordinate with the general contractor and other trades.
