Job summary

CloudHQ, LLC is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support the data center construction QA/QC program. The successful candidate will perform inspections, document non-conformances, and verify that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations meet project requirements and industry standards.

You will work under senior QA/QC personnel to develop site-specific QA/QC plans, participate in FATs and commissioning, and collaborate with general contractors, vendors, and the commissioning team to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a QA/QC, construction or technical role within a mission critical environment.
• Familiarity with construction management tools (Helix, Bluebeam, Procore) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of industry standards such as ANSI/TIA and NEC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in the data center.
• Identify, document and track non-conformances and deficiencies and assist in corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection checklists and inspection and test plans.
• Verify that installations adhere to design documents, contract specifications and codes.
• Support quality audits and maintain quality records.
• Develop and implement site-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Participate in FATs and FWTs, and contribute to commissioning turnover.
