Job summary

Aegis is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support for data center projects. You will develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules and project control systems throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with client project managers and site teams.

The role emphasizes creating baseline schedules, performing progress updates, and conducting critical path analyses. Requires on-site, full-time work and strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within the vertical construction industry.
• Experience in project controls for data centers is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree requirement may be waived with five+ years of direct vertical construction experience.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction CPM Schedules.
• Review project documents and specifications to develop baseline schedules with all dates, activities, and milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates with comprehensive reporting and narratives.
• Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Perform critical path analyses, identify schedule problems, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages.
