Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Hold or be eligible for a Maryland MSDE teaching certificate.
• Three years of childcare and/or education experience.
• Maturity and professional boundaries with high school students.

Responsibilities

• Follows lesson plans provided by classroom teacher to facilitate appropriate learning experiences for students.
• Supervises students in a variety of school-related settings.
• Monitors student outcomes and communicates with staff, parents, and the community as necessary.
• Maintains records and prepares materials for instruction as needed.
• Ensures materials and equipment are ready for instruction and adheres to school policies.
