Qualifikationen

• BS in Cytotechnology or related field
• ASCP registered Cytotechnologist
• ThinPrep certification (preferred)

Aufgaben

• Attend scheduled procedures to provide ROSE of cytology specimens and assess adequacy.
• Use HIS and LIS to result and charge tests for timely diagnosis.
• Screen GYN and Non-GYN slides quickly and accurately per guidelines.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment for quality results.
• Perform and document quality control per internal and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in Quality Assurance activities and continuing education.
• Adhere to ICARE principles to promote quality patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
