Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support IA/ISSO and RMF artifacts for the USCG Ice Patrol. This on-site role focuses on vulnerability management, patching, and compliance artifacts to secure the Ice Patrol's local network and modernize core apps like BAPS.

Expect collaboration with leadership and flexible scheduling to align with civilian IT hours. The position requires active DoD 8570 IAT Level II+ certification, hands-on patching, and experience communicating security controls to

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification.
• Experience in cybersecurity, engineering, system administration, or network support.
• Proven experience with vulnerability tickets, POA&Ms, and remediation scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain RMF artifacts (SSP, SAR) for RMF ATO.
• Coordinate and close POA&M items and vulnerability tickets.
• Maintain security documentation and conduct security testing and scans.
• Produce evidence of meeting security controls through artifacts.
• Patch Windows environments on LAN and local machines on-site.
• Lead hardware deployment activities (WIN 10 imaging and setup).
• Engage stakeholders for security control implementation with Ice Patrol leadership.
