Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking a Counter Sales professional to serve as a key customer touchpoint at the on-site sales counter.

You will process orders, manage inventory tasks, and coordinate logistics to support timely deliveries. You will provide informed product recommendations, pricing information, and accurate quotes while maintaining a courteous, efficient, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred.
• Experience managing customer relationships with a focus on satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations and internet navigation.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and order entry procedures.
• Demonstrated clear and courteous communication in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with clients through phone, email, and in-person consultations.
• Accurately process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company’s computer system.
• Deliver product recommendations and pricing information to meet customer needs and maximize sales.
• Create detailed sales orders and quotes using customer measurements to estimate material needs and costs.
• Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries with precision to ensure timely service.
• Participate in cycle counts, order picking, staging, replenishment, and shipping/receiving.
