Job summary

Heritage Landscape Supply Group, Inc. is seeking a Counter Sales associate to join our Miami sales team. You will handle orders, provide product recommendations, and process transactions at the counter while coordinating with the warehouse for timely deliveries.

The role requires strong multitasking, clear communication, and a customer‑focused approach. You will support inventory tasks, maintain a safe workspace, and collaborate closely with management to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or sales preferred; focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations and internet navigation.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and order entry procedures.
• Clear, courteous communication in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and 50 lbs repetitively.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person consultations.
• Accurately process customer transactions at the sales counter using the company system.
• Deliver product recommendations and pricing information to meet customer needs.
• Create detailed sales orders and quotes from customer measurements.
• Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries with precision.
• Participate in cycle counts, order picking, staging, replenishment, and shipping/receiving.
• Collaborate with management to communicate customer needs and special orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to safety standards.
• Work with warehouse and sales teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Communicate clearly with management and colleagues; align with company policies.
