Job summary

CORE Safety Group is seeking a Safety Advisor for a four-month project in Chicago, IL to provide oversight of a construction project and identify safety issues while ensuring compliance with Federal, State, Local and owner safety requirements.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and writing skills, the ability to interpret safety standards, and the capacity to work independently, prioritize workload, and stay highly organized.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• EM-385 1-1.
• USACE experience.
• Must be able to pass drug test & background check.
• Local to Chicago, IL highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of a construction project and identify safety issues, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, Local and owner safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels throughout the organization; interpret safety standards.
• Work independently, prioritize workload, and maintain a high level of organization.
