Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is looking for a Quality Manager to join its team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This full-time, in-person position involves overseeing quality assurance processes on construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant field experience, a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, and be proficient with various QA/QC systems and tools.

This role emphasizes strong communication skills and collaboration with project teams, ensuring all quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of field or management experience on construction projects of similar size and complexity.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Experience coordinating testing laboratories and inspection documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute inspections with trade partners to ensure checklist accuracy and quality compliance.
• Review installations and quality processes with owners, clients, and design teams.
• Participate in trade pre-installation meetings to verify understanding of project quality requirements.

Skills

Field or management experience on similar construction projects

Communication skills

Education
