Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Construction CQA Field Inspector for a dedicated on-site assignment in Memphis, TN. The role involves safety leadership, field observations, and coordination with engineers, clients, and contractors on large-scale earthwork and civil construction activities.

Responsibilities include monitoring earthwork and testing, maintaining thorough documentation, and contributing to progress and certification reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree or technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site safety representative and maintain a safe working environment.
• Act as liaison between engineer of record, Client and Contractor for field activities.
• Monitor and document earthwork, mass grading, and concrete/soil testing per design documents.
• Maintain documentation (daily reports, RFIs, non-conformance reports) for certification and record drawings.
• Attend project field meetings and assist with progress/certification reports.
