Moyle Construction, a design-build leader in Michigan, seeks a Construction Superintendent for projects in Houghton and surrounding areas. You will direct on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and your crew.

You will lead meetings, mentor tradespeople, and work with project managers to keep budgets and schedules on track. This role requires travel across the Upper Peninsula and a focus on delivering the Better Built

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing construction projects.
• Ability to lead teams of 6-10 skilled tradespeople and multiple projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Ability to read and understand project blueprints and specifications.
• OSHA 30-hour course and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
• Keep projects on schedule and on budget, meeting high-quality standards.
• Serve as main point of contact for clients to build trust and partnerships.
• Mentor and support crew; ensure resources and training are available.
• Oversee daily/weekly safety meetings, risk management, and site organization.
• Collaborate with project managers to track budgets, schedules, and materials.
• Maintain momentum with weekly meetings, reporting, and a 3-week look-ahead schedule.
• Travel to project sites across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan as needed.
