Job summary

A leading construction firm in Sumter, SC seeks a Construction Engineer responsible for project administration, scheduling, and managing on-site engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering and 2-4 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relative design or field experience.
• PE or the ability to obtain PE once experience and testing requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering assignments which may include managing external consultants.
• Coordinate with Project Managers/Engineers and Owners to resolve issues.
• Provide engineering and/or estimating support during project pursuit phase.
• Analyze project productions and assist with improvement.
• Assist with cost forecasting.
