Job summary

A technology service provider in Bozeman, Montana is looking for a Computer Field Technician to perform hardware repairs on laptops and desktops. This 1099/per call position requires prior hands-on experience and reliable transportation. Technicians will need to be available weekdays for variable call volumes, starting at $35 per completed call. Certifications from Dell and Lenovo will be provided as part of the onboarding process, and all work will take place at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be comfortable with daily local travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units.
• Complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of onboarding.
• Confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal.
• Pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store.
