Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking a Community Health Promoter to educate residents on health promotion and disease prevention, coordinating projects aligned with community needs. This on-site role focuses on outreach, collaboration with residents and partners, and delivery of on-site health services to support community well-being.

The position is part-time (approximately 11 hours per week) with pay ranging from $20 to $22 per hour, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in health care.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Healthcare/Public Health/Social Work/Community Organizing.
• Experience translating, interpreting, or documenting for health care services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and coordinating health and wellness outreach projects.
• Coordinate health education activities with community groups and residents.
• Enter and record data accurately in SIMS and other data tools; report outcomes of programs.
