Job summary

Catapult Federal Services seeks experienced Combo Pipe Welders for a full-time, on-site role in Burleson, TX. You will weld carbon steel and stainless steel piping using Stick and TIG processes while coordinating with pipefitters, helpers, and QC to keep projects moving smoothly.

Two openings available. Must read and follow welding procedures; strive for X-ray-quality welds and maintain safety standards on a fully on-site jobsite.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum pipe welding experience.
• Experience with Stick and TIG welding.
• Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipe.
• Ability to read and follow welding procedures and specifications.
• Welds must meet X-ray-quality standards.
• Willingness to assist with fitting, preparation, and grinding tasks.
• Maintain quality and safety standards on a busy jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform Stick and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel piping.
• Complete grinding, cleaning, and weld preparation.
• Assist pipefitters with fitting, layout, preparation, and material handling.
• Produce a minimum equivalent of four 10-inch welds per shift.
• Follow weld procedures and quality standards, meet inspection hold points.
• Ensure welds meet X-ray and project-quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Collaborate with pipefitters, helpers, supervisors, and quality-control personnel.
• Follow all safety procedures.
