Job summary

The Customization Group is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for our US entity in Columbus, OH, including reconciliations, expenses, and vendor interactions. This on-site role focuses on accuracy, documentation, and ownership of the close process to ensure audit readiness.

You will handle month-, quarter-, and year-end entries, intercompany activity, and support tax/audit coordination while collaborating with teams across manufacturing, e-commerce, and finance.

Qualifications

• A degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Typically 2+ years of accounting experience covering reconciliations, payables and month-end close.
• A working knowledge of US GAAP basics.
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and schedules.
• Fluent English and the ability to work on-site in Columbus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts daily and monthly across bank accounts, PayPal, credit cards, petty cash, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, inventory and landed cost.
• Track Navan expenses and AmEx follow-ups with supporting documentation.
• Process vendor invoices, payment runs and day-to-day vendor communications.
• Support month-, quarter- and year-end closes and schedules for the reporting package to HQ.
• Assist with tax filings and documentation for state audits and external auditors.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and payments with European entities.
