Job summary

M3 Wake Research, an M3USA Company, is hiring for a Clinical Research Coordinator. This on-site role is based in Wilmington, NC, working under site management and the Principal Investigator to coordinate daily trial activities and ensure study integrity.

The CRC will screen participants, maintain documentation, and mentor junior staff while adhering to GCP, CFR, and HIPAA guidelines. Strong communication and meticulous attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• CRC with 1-2 years of experience.
• Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred.
• Previous experience as a medical assistant, LPN, or RN.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, read and understand complex protocols, follow detailed directions, and multitask.
• Maintain strict confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Extensive clinical trial knowledge through education and/or experience.
• GCP Certification and Advanced CRC preferred.
• Detail-oriented.
• Familiarity with CFR for human subject protection.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist trial Investigator in screening and review of potential study participants' eligibility.
• Maintain case report forms, charts and documentation.
• Mentor, train, and oversee other coordinators and assistants.
• Ensure all activities comply with protocol, laws, policies, and procedures.
• Collect and enter data as necessary.
• Assist management with candidate selection and shadowing.
• Help start-up, maintenance, and close-out of studies as needed.
• Be flexible with study assignments.
