Responsibilities

• Receive, open, sort and distribute incoming mail or work requests.
• Check workflow documents to ensure required information is available; request missing items.
• Scan documents for electronic storage and prepare mailings.
• Verify information and ensure accurate processing flow of all paper claims and correspondence.
• Conduct data element verification prior to claims adjudication and apply proper indexes.
• Maintain departmental logs, spreadsheets or databases; manage supply inventory.
