Job summary

Fountain City Family Physicians, a division of Summit Medical Group, is hiring a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) for a full-time, on-site role in Knoxville, TN.

The ideal candidate will have CMA/RMA certification, be proficient in phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vital signs, and patient education, and will support physicians with procedures while handling triage and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for examinations.
• Record vital signs including pulse, BP, height and weight.
• Assist physicians with procedures and administer medications.
• Handle triage, referrals, pre-certifications, and prescription calls.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and confidential records.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and site protocols.
