Job summary

Providence Valdez Medical Center seeks an Associate Caregiver Health RN to provide on-site, per-diem health services for caregivers during the day shift. The role emphasizes clinical screening, injury/illness assessment, and health promotion within an occupational health framework.

The successful candidate will hold an Alaska RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of acute care nursing experience, with preferred nursing degree. Per diem schedule supports flexible staffing.

Qualifications

• Alaska Registered Nurse License required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.
• 1 year of experience as an RN in an acute hospital setting or similar nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical caregiver health services to Providence caregivers.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and PSJH policies.
• Collaborate with Infection Prevention, Absence and Disability Management, Workers' Compensation and Well-being teams to deliver occupational and environmental health services.
