Job summary

United Way of the Midlands is seeking a full-time, exempt JAG program instructor to work in Omaha, NE. You will partner with school staff to deliver the JAG curriculum and drive student outcomes toward graduation and post-secondary success.

The role requires collaboration with administrators, community leaders, and employers, with a focus on authentic learning and data-driven outcomes, while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, social services, counseling, or related field.
• Experience with data reporting and confidentiality in education.
• Ability to work with school administrators and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction in a program proven to increase graduation rates and positive outcomes post-graduation.
• Establishes and advances relationships with school administrators and teams by building rapport to effectively serve students and align with school culture and goals.
• Instructs classroom using the JAG Advantage (Project Based Learning, Trauma Informed Care, and Employer Engagement).
• Communicates effectively, efficiently, timely, and professionally with school administrators, community leaders, business partners, and JAG Nebraska leadership.
• Requests support and resources as needed with the JAG Nebraska model, grant and partnership obligations, accreditation compliance, participant documentation, and data entry into JAG Force.
• Recruits students according to best practices and in cooperation with school advisory committee/administration.
