Job summary

CKF Des Moines is seeking a Cabinet Service Technician to perform cabinet installation, repair, and hardware installation in homes and new construction sites. The role requires reading plans, following internal instructions, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Ideal candidates will have service work experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and customer service skills. Willingness to learn carpentry methods and to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform cabinet-related installation, carpentry and repair work.
• Install hardware on cabinets.
• Service existing homes and new construction sites.
• Review job plans and follow instructions from internal tracking system.
• Track and update job status in internal tracking system.
• Observe tool operation and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Coordinate tool and equipment repairs as needed.
