Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
• Electro-mechanical experience and user PC/software skills.
• Reading and interpreting design/construction documents.
• Able to work in varied conditions including ladders, scaffolds, high lift equipment, ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, and above ceilings.
• Able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines; document commissioning details and communicate deficiencies.
• Plan work with Lead Technician and Team Leader.
• Assist with data backup, troubleshooting, and configuration of PCs and user interfaces; support network performance.
• Support verification, testing, and customer acceptance; assist with customer training on system operations.
• Submit routine written reports and provide plans and control system documents to engineering for as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with other trades for startup services; submit time and expense reports.
• Work overtime as needed and possible overnight travel.
• Adhere to safety policies and work in a team environment.
