Job summary

Hoffman Construction Co of America is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join the on-site BIM Department near Amarillo, Texas. The role focuses on coordinating BIM workflows, managing Navisworks-based coordination, and supporting standards throughout the project lifecycle.

You will mentor less experienced team members, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure models meet project requirements while supporting IT and training needs.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in the AEC industry
• Industrial/advanced manufacturing project experience required
• On-site BIM advisor in field office experience preferred
• Associates or Bachelor’s in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field preferred
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical BIM advisor in the onsite field office
• Participate in BIM setup, standards development, and coordination for project phases
• Establish data exchange standards with the project team for BIM utilization
• Coordinate model families and manage coordination using Navisworks Manage
• Run clash detection studies and generate reports for the project team
• Maintain model libraries and archive models at project completion
• Provide clear communication across all channels
