Job summary

Onward Education is partnering with a Cook County, Illinois school to hire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for an on-site role during the 2026/2027 school year. The BCBA will design and oversee evidence-based behavior intervention plans and collaborate with educators, families, and staff to promote positive student outcomes.

The position supports early elementary learners (K–2) with behavioral, social, and emotional needs, following standard school-day hours (8:00am–3:00pm).

Qualifications

• BCBA credential required.
• Experience supporting early elementary learners (K–2) in a school setting.
• Ability to work on-site and follow scheduled school-day hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavior assessments and interpret findings to identify drivers of student behavior.
• Develop and oversee individualized behavior support plans with measurable goals.
• Coach school staff on consistent implementation of behavior strategies across settings.
• Set up and maintain behavior data systems and review progress to adjust interventions.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure plan carryover and alignment.
