Job summary

Presidio is seeking an on-site AV Integration Technician in Charlotte, NC to install displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and teleconferencing gear. The role requires regular travel to client sites across the region (approximately 75–85%).

You will work with Lead Technicians and Project Managers, perform low‑voltage cabling, basic rack wiring, and learn CTS/AV certifications for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in low voltage or AV industry.
• High school diploma or higher education/military experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Onsite installation of displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and teleconferencing systems.
• Install, test, and terminate low voltage cabling for AV setups.
• Take instructions from Lead Technician and Project Managers to complete AV installation.
• Complete basic rack wiring.
• Learn CTS/AV certifications for growth within the company.
• Assist with inventory, staging, and testing of AV and network hardware.
• Communicate with other trades and handle basic customer communication onsite.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site.
