Job summary

Addition Management, a medical device company in Princeton, NJ, seeks an Assistant Controller to support accounting, financial reporting, SEC compliance, and cash management in a fully in-office role. You will lead the monthly close, prepare SEC filings, and oversee internal controls while ensuring US GAAP compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of SEC/public company reporting experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a background in healthcare/manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 3–7 years of SEC/public company reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting, including payroll, AR, AP, fixed assets, and GL.
• Lead monthly close, consolidation, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Support preparation and review of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and proxy statements.
• Coordinate quarterly disclosure schedules and external reporting documentation.
• Partner with Corporate Controller on budgeting and forecasting.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and SOX controls.
• Drive ERP implementations, upgrades, and process automation initiatives.
• Define system requirements with IT to optimize financial workflows.
• Develop standardized reporting tools and dashboards.
