Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Sales Representative in Wheeling, IL. This permanent, full-time role involves selling tree care services to residential and commercial clients from the sales office or at client sites, with an emphasis on customer education and relationship building.

You will collaborate with the District Manager to drive sales, develop plant health care programs, provide accurate estimates, and help grow the company footprint across locations in the US.

Qualifications

• Must obtain ISA Certified Arborist after hire
• Valid driver7s license required
• Regional plant and horticulture knowledge
• 24 years minimum experience in sales/tree care

Responsibilities

• Learn to work as a tree doctor that makes house calls
• Educate residential and commercial customers on the needs of their trees
• Provide customers with estimates based on their needs
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs
• Create and build relationships with new and existing clients
• Set up and supervise crew members assigned to customer jobs
• Learn to be a part of the office and field management team
• Assist the District Manager in directing the whole team
