Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain required certifications within six months.
• Knowledge of Ohio animal control laws preferred.
• Ability to work on-call and in rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Ohio animal control laws and respond to complaints.
• Investigate cruelty and neglect, impound animals as needed.
• Capture, transport, and care for stray animals and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide basic first aid and safety for animals and the public.
• Educate community on responsible pet ownership and laws.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and shelter leadership as required.
