Job summary

Ideal Option PLLC is seeking a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Longview, WA clinic. You will provide life-changing care to patients across the continuum of recovery, from stabilization to maintenance, in a 4x10 work schedule (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Tue–Fri).

Responsibilities include patient assessments, initiating maintenance meds, administering long-acting injectables, monitoring treatment, and EMR documentation. Telemedicine delivery is also part of care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Active DEA license.
• Strong and efficient communication and documentation skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered addiction care.
• No prior addiction medicine experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new and established patient assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
• Initiate and manage buprenorphine and maintenance meds.
• Administer long-acting injectable meds (buprenorphine, naltrexone).
• Monitor response to treatment and review lab results.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and care coordination teams.
• Document in EMR (eCW).
• Provide care in-person and via telemedicine.
