Job summary

Qualifications

• Perform clerical, assistant, or technician level work in support of a budget, accounting, auditing, fiscal and financial management functions.
• Maintaining, auditing, and reconciling general and subsidiary ledger accounts for reports and funds control.
• Preparing journal vouchers and reconciliations for multi-line transactions and unusual postings.
• Training and consulting control point users and customers on fiscal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform budget administration, financial systems, and accounting support.
• Prepare reconciliations of general ledger to subsidiary accounts and reports.
• Inspect purchase orders, requisitions, and financial components for corrections as needed.
• Obligate and amend purchase orders; ensure audit trails for financial transactions.
