BBI Logistics is seeking an Account Executive to join our Columbus, OH HQ team. This on-site role focuses on the fast-paced brokerage business, building a personal book of business through ongoing carrier and customer communication.

You will lead generation activities, conduct 60+ daily cold calls, negotiate freight costs, and manage freight movement using our TMS software. A strong mindset and willingness to work beyond regular hours are valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead Generation; Creatively self-generate leads and qualify prospects
• Cold Call; Execute 60+ cold calls daily to build relationships and grow your client base
• Negotiate and Market Research; Stay up to date on industry trends to provide and negotiate freight costs to customers and carriers
• Account Management; Efficiently oversee freight movement, addressing problems using our proprietary TMS software
• Problem Solving; Proactively communicate with high sense of urgency when resolving issues and provide updates to customers and carriers
