Job summary

Applied Behavioral Services is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to deliver structured ABA-based treatment to children with autism and related developmental needs. You will follow individualized plans created by a BCBA, collect precise data, and adapt strategies to improve communication, social, behavioral, and independent-living skills.

This role emphasizes adherence to treatment plans, data accuracy, and professional interaction with families and clinical supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience supporting children or individuals with special needs is preferred.
• Ability to remain calm under high-stress situations and document services accurately.
• Openness to coaching, observation, and performance feedback.
• Must complete background checks and provider-network enrollment requirements.
• Preferred: RBT certification and CPI/CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA programs and behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behavior outcomes.
• Provide feedback to clinical supervisors and families.
• Support students during therapy sessions using evidence-based ABA techniques.
• Maintain confidentiality and a clean, organized work environment.
