Job summary

Motocruit is seeking a Structural Auto Body Technician in Morrison, CO to repair and restore vehicles with structural damage, including frame alignment, panel replacement, and welding using MIG/TIG methods.

You will work with Car-O-Liner and other advanced tools, follow safety standards, and communicate repair plans with teammates and customers while staying current with technique updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of auto body repair experience with emphasis on structural repairs.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and use of specialized tools and equipment.
• Experience in frame and suspension alignment.

Responsibilities

• Assess structural damage to determine repair scope.

Job Description

Our Client is seeking a highly skilledStructural Auto Body Technician to join their team. The successful candidate willbe responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles that have sustainedstructural damage due to accidents or other incidents. The ideal candidateshould have a strong background in repairing and rebuilding vehicle frames,aligning frames and suspension systems, replacing damaged body panels andparts, and using specialized tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough assessments of structural damageon vehicles to determine the scope of repairs needed.
  
• Disassembling damaged vehicles to assess the extentof structural damage and identify any hidden damage.
  
• Repairing and rebuilding vehicle frames to factoryspecifications using specialized tools and techniques.
  
• Aligning frames and suspension systems to ensureproper vehicle handling and safety.
  
• Replacing damaged body panels and parts with new orused parts, depending on the customer's preference and budget.
  
• Utilizing specialized welding techniques to repairdamaged metal parts, including MIG, TIG, and resistance welding.
  
• Utilizing computerized measuring systems to ensureproper alignment and repairs.
  
• Communicating effectively with team members andcustomers to ensure clear understanding of repair needs and timelines.
  
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area andadhering to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest automotivetechnology and repair techniques.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair,with an emphasis on structural repairs.
  
• Knowledge of welding techniques and use ofspecialized tools and equipment.
  
• Experience in frame and suspension alignment.
  
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders andtechnical manuals.
  
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
  
• Relevant certification(s) such as ASE StructuralTechnician or I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred.
  
• Experience utilizing Car-O-Liner, Chief, Genesis, orCelette highly preferred
  

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead.
