Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an engineer for the on-device Experimentation service to empower OS developers and measure impact across devices.

You will design features, write high-performance libraries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while focusing on memory, power, and user experience across iOS, macOS, and related platforms.

The role requires strong OS fundamentals and low-level programming with an emphasis on developer experience and end-user impact.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in operating systems concepts including concurrency and memory management.
• Hands-on experience with low-level or systems software through internships, coursework, or open-source projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills with teamwork experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features and APIs for the on-device Experimentation service deployed across Apple OSes.
• Develop and maintain high-performance libraries that are easy to use by developers.
• Participate in all phases of the software development cycle from design to testing and debugging.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across different layers of the software stack and write tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable developer and product features.
