Job summary
OSF HealthCare is seeking an OnDemand Registered Nurse who provides high-quality, compassionate care across diverse clinical settings with flexibility. This hourly role involves traveling between OSF facilities to meet staffing and patient needs.
A $15,000 sign-on bonus applies with a one-year commitment, and weekend shifts are assigned per schedule. The position requires an Illinois RN license, an associate degree in nursing, BLS, ACLS and PALS as applicable, and at least one year of acute-care
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in nursing.
- Experience: 1 year of RN experience in acute care within the specialty.
- Licensure/ Certification: Illinois RN license; BLS; ACLS (where applicable); PALS (where applicable).
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication; flexible schedule; strong clinical judgment; analytical problem-solving; teamwork; computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care across diverse clinical settings.
- Travel between OSF facilities based on staffing and patient needs.
- Utilize sound clinical judgment and document individualized patient care.
- Collaborate with care teams to meet patient and organizational needs.
- Demonstrate autonomy and leadership in a flexible OnDemand role.
