Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an OnDemand Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, compassionate care across diverse clinical settings with a strong emphasis on flexibility. The OnDemand RN will travel between OSF facilities based on staffing and patient needs.

The role requires an active Illinois RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS where applicable, with 1 year of acute care experience. Self-scheduling and weekend shifts vary by years of RN experience, supporting flexible workload management.

Qualifications

Education: Associate degree in nursing.
Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting within the specialty hired.
Licensure/ Certification: Illinois RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) where applicable.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care across diverse clinical settings.
Travel between multiple OSF facilities based on staffing and patient needs.
Use sound clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document individualized patient care.
Serve as a highly knowledgeable, autonomous professional within the OSF Ministry.
Maintain flexibility and adaptability to meet patient and organizational needs across the care continuum.
