Job summary

As a Guest Advocate, you will engage with guests, promote loyalty programs, and assist with order pickup, drive-up, and registry services.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft markers
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard
• Scan and bag items accurately and safely
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches and events
• Know and speak to benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment
• Be familiar with fulfillment services and direct guests to enroll, activate and use them
• Understand Wallet and Target App features and offerings
• Handle returns by following policies with leaders as needed
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience
• Deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
• Stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate safety and compliance practices
• Support guest services like OPU and Drive-Up while complying with laws
• All other duties based on business needs
